AdSense becomes very popular for blogger in monetizing their blog since AdSense reported to be the most effective way in placing advertisement in any web pages. This is due to AdSense ability to automatically track keywords in any web page based on repetition and word or phrase placement in important section of web page. However, hard effort still needed to gain maximum revenue from AdSense. As we can see, some web master earns massive money from AdSense while others only got penny for their hard works. So, what are the secrets that make this difference?
Well, there are several factors causing this difference. I will mention 3 of them. One, you have to know which AdSense keywords which will pay you bigger. This is important since some keywords paid $20 per click (and even bigger), while others paid less than $2 per click. You can simply search in Google for keywords that will pay you more by typing "top paying keywords". Once you've found those keywords, I suggest you to know the effectiveness of those keywords. You can use wordtracker to do this, and this is important, since you have competitors that will use the same keywords. It means that you will need to work harder to get your website in the top rank on Google in order people can easily find your site.
Two, place your AdSense in the hot section of your web page which is catches on eye. The best thing to do is placing it in line with main paragraph on your web page. This will make visitors thinks the ads as a part of the web content, so that it will increase probability of visitors to click on your AdSense ads.
Three, make the AdSense layout as similar as your page as possible. Make your AdSense seems like a part of your web site, and clicks will flood your ads. I would rather set my AdSense ads in the same format as web page content rather than placing it as a banner of web page. I would avoid using border in my ads as well, since it will make clear that the text in the box is an advertisement.
